I love tortilla de Patatas!

Today is Valentine’s day. A lot of people enjoy the day in the most romantic way. I just want to say I love celebrating LOVE everyday of my life. To be romantic whenever you want to be. If you want to give a lovely surprise to a loved one, everyday is a special day to do it (there is no need to wait until today!).

Isn’t it true that you loved ones are there for you every single day? Why February 14th is to celebrate love? You have your whole life to do that (all day long!).

Well, now I can say I’ve just got this thought out of my chest. Now, feel free to disagree with my point of view. It’s just how I see it.

Regarding Spanish traditions, Valentine’s Day started to be celebrated in Spain not that long ago. Valentine’s Day is not that traditional in Spain as in other places is.

And finally, you might me wondering…

1) that if I don’t believe in Valentine’s Day… why on earth am I posting a heart here today?

There is an explanation for this: I love heart shaped anything. I am sorry, I can’t help it. I love hearts. Done. Confessed. This weekend the idea if a heart shapping a slice of chorizo with a cookie cutter crossed my mind. Don’t you like it? :)

2) Why am I not following my blog schedule? First of all, I want to say that I am sorry for my absence. I have a good number of entries to publish, but I can’t do anything at the moment. The reason why is that I am attending to a intensive (in the most literal meaning) dutch language course. After each lesson, when I got home, my brain feels like a raisin, completely dried, no substance inside… The course ends this friday. Therefore, I think I will be able to come back here next week.
